HOW IT WORKS_A-Logic_ Backup Offsite software is installed on the client workstation or server. The Mission-critical data is selected and a backup schedule defined. When a backup is initiated, the data is first compressed and then encrypted at the client’s machine prior to offsite transfer.

An A-Logic Backup Technician will transfer the initial on-site backup snapshot of the data to a mobile backup storage server. The encrypted snapshot is then transported to A-Logic, where it is transferred to the Primary Backup server, and then replicated to the secondary and tertiary mirror servers.

At the scheduled time, usually each evening, the backup software will scan the selected datastores for changes. Cutting edge, binary incremental technology accurately extracts only the changes that you’ve made to a file since the last backup

Data is compressed and encrypted using secure banking-strength 1024 bit SSL transport protocols, before being transferred to the offsite servers, where it resides mirrored at our three separate state-of-the-art secure data storage facilities, encrypted in an industry-leading 448-bit blowfish encryption.

File and folder data can be recovered online easily via the software, and where full disaster-recovery is required, an A-Logic technician can bring the entire data storage account onsite for rapid recovery.
